Sulma Arranging Flowers

  Our Staff

Rescued and restored by local preservationist Eddie Breaux, the McKendrick-Breaux House has been operating as a B & B for 10 years, and is still operated by Breaux today.

And according to Frommer's, "You'd be hard-pressed to find a better host. Not only is he utterly hospitable (fresh flowers may be waiting in your room), but he loves his city and is quite knowledgeable about it. He will help with all sorts of plans and is particularly knowledgeable and opinionated (what good New Orleanian isn't, though?) with restaurant choices. He lives on-site but is not intrusive, so you feel pampered but not smothered."

Our staff is made up of native New Orleanians who know the city well and enthusiastically share insider advice. Let us plan a whole day for you. Rely on our connections to get reservations at the best "non-touristy" restaurants that'll give you special attention. Or simply take our suggestions on the best tours, museums, galleries and boutiques that New Orleans has to offer. We'll send you to places where we know you'll walk away having had a fabulous experience.

We're here to make your stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible, and our concierge service goes above and beyond anything you've experienced before - but we're never intrusive. We've arranged all kinds of special occasions - from helping a soon-to-be fiancé plan the ultimate romantic marriage proposal, to delicately handling the first-time meeting of a couple who fell in love over the internet!

CindyCindy is the expert at getting sought-after restaurant reservations and organizing day tours. And if you'd like her to handle all the details, she'll gladly plan your entire day or your entire stay.

E.J.E.J. is the authority on the history of the McKendrick-Breaux House and the history of the city of New Orleans. Ask him anything, and you're sure to learn something fascinating.

Eddie BreauxAnd the owner, Eddie Breaux, attends to all those little details that make your stay nothing less than enchanting.

Of course, we also have a full housekeeping staff to ensure the luxurious comfort of your room.
